SHIPPING POLICY
- In this Shipping and Returns Policy, terms defined in the Terms and Conditions shall have the same meaning when used in this Shipping and Returns Policy.
- Wanzl Australia reserves the right to update or modify this Shipping and Returns Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on the Website, and the revised Shipping and Returns Policy will apply to all Orders placed after the effective date of the change.
SHIPPING
- Wanzl Australia ships to Australia only.
- Shipping costs are estimated and calculated based on weight, dimensions and destination of the package. The estimated total shipping costs will be displayed at checkout before you complete your Order.
- In order to provide you the most competitive freight price Wanzl Australia’s ‘Shipping Calculator’ sources freight quotes using the third-party software MachShip. Please see https://machship.com/terms-and-policies/ for their Terms and Conditions. Wanzl Australia is committed to providing the most accurate shipping cost however in instances where additional charges are required, we will contact you prior to shipping your Order.
- The Customer authorises Wanzl Australia and its carrier to leave all Orders at the Customer’s nominated shipping address, unless otherwise agreed Wanzl Australia.
- Please Note – Wanzl Australia are not able to deliver goods to a PO Box address.
Deliveries requiring a forklift
- The Products are typically delivered on pallets and require a tailgate or forklift delivery.
- In the ‘Shipping Calculator’, the Customer must confirm whether the Customer will make a forklift available for unloading the Products upon Delivery.
- If the Customer selects “Yes” to providing its own forklift for unloading the Products upon Delivery, the Customer must provide and is fully responsible for ensuring that a forklift and operator are available to receive the Order on Delivery at its own cost.
- Receipt of the Delivery shall be understood as physical unloading of the Delivered Products.
- If the Customer selects “No” to providing its own forklift for unloading the Products upon Delivery, Wanzl Australia will arrange for its carrier to supply and operate such equipment and/or machinery and such personnel as necessary to unload Products on Delivery and the cost for doing so must be paid by the Customer prior to the Order being dispatched.
- The Customer should contact Wanzl Australia prior to Delivery if it requires specifications for pallets for the purposes of receiving an Order, including dimensions, loads and vehicle size.
- In the event that:-
- the Customer fails or refuses to accept Delivery;
- the Customer does not have a forklift, a forklift operator or other safe means of unloading the Order from the carrier’s vehicle; or
- the Customer does not provide an area in which the Order can be safely unloaded in accordance with applicable health and safety laws and policies of the carrier and Wanzl Australia;
then:-
- the carrier may transfer the Order to its warehouse or such other location specified by Wanzl Australia or the carrier; and/or
- Wanzl Australia or the carrier may charge the Customer additional costs resulting from performing additional operations or services and payment of such costs will be a condition to any attempt to re-Deliver and unload the relevant Products.
- Wanzl Australia shall not be held liable for any claims made by the Customer related to the carrier’s failure, refusal or delay to or in unloading Products due to any of the matters set out in clause 14.
- The Customer undertakes to receive the Delivery at such times specified in the carrier’s tracking system or as notified to the Customer from time to time.
Deliveries During Business Hours
- All Deliveries will be made during Wanzl Australia’s carrier’s standard business hours.
Estimated Delivery Dates
- If Wanzl Australia or its carrier provide the Customer with an estimated Delivery date, that is an estimate only and is subject to change, including due to unforeseen circumstances. Wanzl Australia shall not under any circumstances be liable for late or delays to Deliveries.
Goods Lost in Transit
- As per the Terms and Conditions, the goods are at your risk from the time of Delivery.
